I have a different selling style and technique
than many traditional professional salespeople-and it works!
It wasn’t until much later that my selling style was recognized and appreciated by those folks who didn’t know how to sell, didn’t like to sell and frankly didn’t want to sell. I now call them “Non-Traditional Salespeople”.
My philosophy was born: Everybody Sells!™
- college students selling themselves to get that first job in the workplace
- community leaders selling ideas to their constituencies
- professionals, business owners and entrepreneurs selling their services and products
This philosophy may not surprise you, but the reality seems to be that very few like the idea of being considered a “salesperson”. Most people have a misconception of what selling is all about and are jaded by the stereotypical images of sales and the bad experiences they may have had when somebody was trying to sell them something.
“Sales” doesn’t have to be a dirty word! It may be a lofty goal, but it’s my hope to change people’s mindset on what selling is REALLY all about: helping people, solving problems, fulfilling needs and creating win-win situations based on solid and genuine relationships. Call me an idealist!
As a member of the National Speakers Association, Toastmasters International and the Institute of Management Consultants, I consider myself an inspirational speaker and trainer, offering a blended learning approach of sales concepts for non-traditional salespeople. I inspire non-traditional salespeople to better understand and appreciate the concept of selling.
This combination of my experience is just one part of my formula for success in offering the most value in every speaking and training opportunity for which I am engaged:
